STUDY IN DISCERNMENT – JUDGMENT
Isaiah 1:18-20
Come
now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as
scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they
shall be as wool. [19] If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of
the land: [20] But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:
for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Hebrews
(This is speaking to those who have “been there and done that,” so to
speak.)
Matthew
(We are to shed the light on the darkness so that others may see.)
Luke
Luke 12:3 - Therefore
whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that
which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
(I believe that this speaks for itself. The idea is that you shouldn’t
do anything in the darkness that you would be ashamed of if brought out into
the light.)
John
(It is only when someone is doing evil deeds that they would be afraid
of the light.)
"WE
ARE JESUS CHRIST'S SHEEP AND NONE OTHER"
Matthew
Matthew 26:31 - Then
saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this
night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the
flock shall be scattered abroad.
Mark
John 10:2 - But
he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
John 10:9 - I
am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and
out, and find pasture.
Acts
John
John 10:14 - I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of
mine.

1 Peter 5:4 - And
when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory

"JESUS
CAME AS A SAVIOUR THE FIRST TIME"
John
1 Tim. 2:1 – I
exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
1 Tim. 2:5-6 - For
there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
[6] Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1 Tim. 2:4 – Who will have all men to be saved, and to come
unto the knowledge of the truth.
1 Tim. 2:8 - I
will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and
doubting.
1 Peter
Romans 5:9-10 - Much
more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by
the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his
life.
Romans
Romans 10:1 - Brethren,

"HE
CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE"
(FROM
WHAT?)
(We are in the "heavenly" army of God and our
warfare absolutely "IS" in the spirit realm. Our warfare "is
not" carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.)
Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord
is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he
hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty
them that are bruised, and Paul admonishes us to :
Galatians 5:1 - Stand
fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not
entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Ephes. 6:6 - Not
with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will
of God from the heart;
Matthew
Proverbs 28:5 - Evil men understand not judgment: but
they that seek the LORD understand all things.

"HE
COMES AS "JUDGE" THE SECOND TIME"
Acts
Romans 3:5 - But
if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is
God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
Romans
2 Thes. 1:8 -
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Hebrews
Jude 1:7 - Even

"TO
JUDGE OR NOT TO JUDGE?"
(We have to measure "everything" by the
word of God. We are not "The
Judge" in one
meaning of the word (krino - Greek) that means to condemn)
Matthew 7:1-2 - Judge not, that ye be not judged. [2] For with what judgment
ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again.
Luke
"BUT
WE ARE TO JUDGE "RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT."
John 7:24 - Judge not
according to the appearance, but judge righteous
judgment.
krino, kree'-no, Greek
2919; properly to distinguish, i.e. decide (mentally or judicially); by
implication to try, condemn, punish :-
avenge, conclude, condemn,
damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think.
1 Cor. 4:5 - Therefore judge
nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring
to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of
the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
Luke 12:57 - Yea, and why even of
yourselves judge (or distinguish) ye not what is right?
John
1 Cor. 6:2-5 - Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the
world? and if the world shall be
judged by you, are ye
unworthy to judge the smallest matters? [3] Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
1 John 4:1 - Beloved,
believe not every spirit, but try
(judge) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are
gone out into the world.
2 Tim. 3:12-4:8 - Yea, and all that will
live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. [13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,
deceiving, and being deceived. [14] But
continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of,
knowing of whom thou hast learned them; [15] And that from a child thou hast
known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God ( or
woman )may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. [4:1] I
charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge
the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the
word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine. [3] For the time will come when they will
not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears
from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. [5] But watch thou
in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full
proof of thy ministry.
2 Cor. 11:12-15 - But what I do, that I
will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that
wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. [13] For such are false
apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of
Christ [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is
transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the
ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
2 Cor. 11:20 - For ye suffer, if a
man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man
exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
("And Jesus did not say that we should pursue
"UNITY" at all cost,” in fact, He said)
Matthew
Rev. 17:5 - And upon her forehead
was a name written, MYSTERY,
Rev. 18:2-12 - And he cried mightily
with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is
fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every
foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. [3] For all
nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings
of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the
earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. [4] And I heard
another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her,
my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. [5] For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God
hath remembered her iniquities.
Proverbs
"SHOULD
WE HAVE "SWEET COMMUNION" WITH DARKNESS?"
2 Cor.
1 John 1:6-7 - If we say that we have
fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: [7]
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with
another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
2 John 1:6-13 - And this is love, that
we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye
have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. [7] For many
deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come
in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. [8] Look to yourselves,
that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full
reward. [9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of
Christ, (didache, did-akh-ay', Greek 1322; from
Greek 1321 (didasko); instruction (the act or the matter) :- doctrine, hath
been taught. ) hath not God. He that abideth in
the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. [10] If there come
any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed: [11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker
of his evil deeds.
NIV VERSION: 2 John 1:9 - Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ (ALL OF HIS TEACHING) does
not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the
Son. [10] If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take
him into your house or welcome him.
(I do not claim to have done an exhaustive
study but truly feel that the word of God must be rightly divided and made
"balanced.")

2 Cor.
2 Cor. 4:2 - But
have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor
handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth
commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
