To the Gospel Assembly Church:

I have been praying for you, always praying that God would open your eyes to the truth that is in Jesus Christ the Lord. That he would show you honesty and integrity in the past dealings with God’s dear children. That he would impress up on you a conviction to search them out and repent to them for the damage done to them by certain members of your fellowship. Only God through Jesus Christ can bring you to repentance and the acknowledgement of wrongdoing and of the erring from the truth. This I pray that he would do.

2 Tim. 2:25-26 (NIV) -  Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, [26] and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

We are still ready and willing to meet openly with you and work to resolve past wrongs that have been done to God’s children in the local area, and to get all sins under the blood of Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 28:13 (NIV) - He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

We are willing and able to confess our sins if you are willing and able to openly meet with us and convince us where we have sinned as we to you.

This, Jesus was not afraid to do: John 8:46 (NIV) - Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me?

If  you have the truth and are telling the truth, we will confess our sin’s openly and repent to you all as I would hope that if we have the truth and tell the truth, you would be willing to confess your sin before all and repent and believe the truth that we all might be saved.

2 Cor. 4:1-2 (NIV) - Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. [2] Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

Romans 2:2-6 (NIV) - Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. [3] So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment? [4] Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? [5] But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. [6] God "will give to each person according to what he has done."

Also, the way that you are going now with the old fellowship or campground group cannot prosper because your basic doctrines are not the same. If they do not believe the Bible doctrine of Predestination and election, then there cannot be true fellowship.

2 Cor. 6:14-18 (NIV) - Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? [15] What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? [16] What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." [17] "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." [18] "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

Daniel 2:14-18 (NIV) -  When Arioch, the commander of the king's guard, had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon, Daniel spoke to him with wisdom and tact. [15] He asked the king's officer, "Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?" Arioch then explained the matter to Daniel. [16] At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.  [17] Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. [18] He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

This I believe in and I know is true, that my God is a God of truth, honesty and integrity.

Psalm 15:1-2 (NIV) - A psalm of David. Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? [2] He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart.

Also to all, we are doing fine and still praying and meeting together, lifting up Jesus Christ as the only true Lord and King of righteousness and we are still hungering and thirsting after the God of Truth.

We close this letter with the hope in our hearts that you all will consider our request and work to heal the hurts of God’s dear children. For if not now, then in the great white throne judgment when the books are open, then every wrong shall be made right. We do not want to wait until then because there will be no mercy there to those who show no mercy and concern here.

Rev. 20:11-15 (NIV) - Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. [12] And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. [13] The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. [14] Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. [15] If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Again, please consider and make a wise decision to work to heal the hurts and wrongs of God’s children. We close with the words of Jesus himself.

Matthew 5:22-26 - (NIV) - But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. [23] "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, [24] leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. [25] "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. [26] I tell you the truth; you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

Sincerely,

Gary D. King
