Dear Glenn,

If I could stand up in a public meeting of the Gospel Assembly Churches, this is what I would do:

I would look directly, face to face with you and I would say this:

Glenn, I tried going to you privately and telling you my grievances about Lloyd Goodwin. Remember when I came to you after church that Wednesday night in 1991 and ask you if I could talk to you? This was after you told me that I was not allowed to speak in your church until Lloyd Goodwin came back into town. I told you that I had tried to address Lloyd Goodwin with my problems with him but he refused to talk to me about it. Instead, he stood up in front of the entire church, with my own husband present, and said words similar to these:

“Wanda Mason is going to die in a horrible fiery crash and be burned and charred beyond recognition! If this doesn’t happen within a short period of time, then God never called me to the ministry.”

Robert’s quote from transcript:  http://www.gospelassemblyfree.com/news/TRANSCRIPTInterviewBobKim.htm

Bob: "Then in the service, my wife's name and Kim Park's name was mentioned at least a half dozen different times in conjunction with one another and on one on one basis. My wife's name was mentioned and the fact that she was going to die an unnatural death. The scripture was given, quoted, he made it very plain that she was going to die an "unnatural" death and he gave a time table on this Saturday night of somewhere, probably, for using the scriptures from the Bible, the neighborhood of one to two months. The service then, Wednesday, May 15th, I was present at this service, my daughter was present at this service where it was, again, the scriptures were used and the time frame was changed at this point. My wife's name was not mentioned because visitors from out of state were present in this service, so no name was actually mentioned but he alluded to everything so everybody was very aware of who it was because of previous services. He mentioned at this point that she was going to die a death and she was going to die a fiery death, her body was going to be charred beyond recognition, and the fact that she would die very soon. He would not say how soon but in both cases he mentioned the fact that she was either going to die or he was not called to the ministry. He was that plain, that evident and he made that statement in both services, on two or three occasions especially, Saturday the 11th. On Wednesday the 15th, he made the statement again if this did not happen then he was not called to the ministry."

Glenn, do you remember telling me that you weren’t an elder and that I needed to take it to the elders? So I asked you who the elders were and you said, “Vernon Goodwin and Lee Ray.”  I thanked you and left. The following is a copy of the letter that I sent to Lloyd explaining the situation.

Excerpt from letter:

“Paul said "If you have ought against your brother, go to him and him alone and if he won't hear you, then go to the elders and if they won't hear you, then go to the church." (Actually, it doesn't say go to the elders, it says to take some others with you but I knew that in this case, it would have to be the elders that went with me.) I want to do it right and God's way.”

Then I wrote a letter to Vernon Goodwin and he also refused to hear me. The only reason I sent it to what I thought was his place of business, was because Lloyd Goodwin wouldn’t let anyone read my letters.

Letter from Vernon Goodwin:

7/24/91

Wanda Mason,

I do not understand why you would mail any correspondence addressed to me to Brooks- Lussem Insurance Agency. I have no relationship with that agency. I am particularly at a loss to understand since my name and address is listed in the telephone directory. In the future, please do not send any correspondence to any place of business addressed to me. In fact, I am asking that you not address any correspondence to me concerning this matter.

Vernon Goodwin

I sent a letter to Lee Ray and he told me he threw it away. I had asked him to give the letter that I wrote to your father, Vernon, to him and he said he didn’t give it to him but just threw it away. In fact, NO ONE would hear me. I tried doing it the Biblical way. People either sent my letters back, gave them to Lloyd Goodwin, or threw them away. I had to resort to other methods just to get you to read a letter from me, remember?

For five years, I pleaded with Lloyd Goodwin to do the right thing. All my letters and his back to me are on the website now for the entire world to see; all those letters that Lloyd Goodwin forbade anyone to read. He even said he didn’t read them, which was a lie because the very next service he would be up there preaching about what I wrote in the letter.

I was sincere in reaching out to him. I really hoped beyond hope that somehow he would listen and do the right thing. But he just kept on digging his own pit and after five years of God wooing him and asking him to repent; he fell into his own pit. I’m not the one who died, Glenn; it was Lloyd L. Goodwin who dropped dead in church. Can you at least admit that much?

Several of us have tried to reach out to you, Glenn. You refused to hear any of our grievances unless we promised not to say anything about your Apostle, Lloyd L. Goodwin. We have letters on the website proving this. You even went so far as to say that we should “cover up” evil!

Your own quotes: “If we meet with you, please understand that we refuse to listen to any charges, claims, grievances, gossip, innuendoes, or disparaging statements about Bro. Lloyd Goodwin, Bro. Vernon Goodwin, any minister or any saints in this church. --It is the Devil who is the accuser of our brethren. Rev.12:10. We refuse to become an accuser or a judge. We are not interested in the results of any investigation. The ungodly are the ones who did dig up evil. Pro. 16:27. The Lord gave us a paddle to cover up evil, not to dig it out and expose it. Deut. 23:13-14. Furthermore, we will not engage in any debate with you or your brothers. II Cor. 12:20, Rom. 1:29. We will not enter into any strife. 11 Tim. 2:24, Isa. 45:9.”

We have put nothing on those websites that is not true. You have lied and even committed crimes against the state to protect your Uncle Lloyd. I really don’t know exactly how much you knew about all his shenanigans, but I believe you know a lot.

Now, I’m going to ask you publicly to hear me before the entire church. Will you listen to my grievances now? Will you listen to all the voices that are hurting because of what your Uncle and your church did to them? Will you listen to all the young people who were beaten, raped and mentally abused in your church?  Are you ready to admit that openly and commit to some kind of restitution to make things right with them? You do believe in restitution, don’t you Glenn?  Lloyd Goodwin was pretty big on restitution. Do you still believe what he taught?

Glenn, I’m asking you here, publicly, to hear us. I’m asking you to make a public repentance for not only what Lloyd did, but for what you’ve done in continuing to uphold him as a great apostle, when the truth is that he was nothing but a liar, an adulterer, a thief, and a murderer. Even if he never really physically “murdered” anyone, he was still a murderer because he murdered people’s souls, lives, families, reputations and etcetera. His life was a farce. You need to admit that to the people you are in fellowship with. Can you do that, Glenn?

If you’re willing to do that, then I’m willing to publicly shake your hand and endorse you as a true child of God. I’m willing to make that public on the website and the message board. That’s what I’m willing to do. What are you willing to do? You do need our endorsement and forgiveness, Glenn, because whatever you’ve done to these little ones, you’ve done to Christ.

Sincerely with all my heart and soul,

Wanda Mason
